Phone thefts

Your licencing Officers continue to review crimes that take place in the city centre on licenced premises.

We have noted several instances where people have had their phones stolen from them.

To reduce your chances of having your phone stolen, please do the following:

  • Ensure that you keep your phone secure in a pocket or bag
  • Never leave your phone unattended, even for a few minutes
  • Never hand your phone to someone you have just met, even if they appear friendly
  • If someone asks you to log onto your social media, make sure that they cannot see your PIN or password.
  •

If you realise your phone has been stolen then please report this to Greater Manchester Police.

    Many Thanks

Please note that Bee in the Loop is not a means of reporting crime or incidents. Please use 101 or 999 in an emergency to report an incident to the Police.
